Let’s just say, you are an adult and you have a penchant for reading. If that’s the case, then you can thank me once you are done reading! It is time to revamp your library.

Disclaimer: If you are here for the technological specifications of Kindle Paperwhite, or those boring parts, I suggest you redirect yourself to Amazon.
I recently bought the Kindle Paperwhite.
Don’t ask me why I bought it, because it is a long story—read irrelevant. Simply put, it was a huge, long-term investment.
It did not cost me a lot.

Well, considering that I have around one hundred and twenty-six books of genres ranging from mystery to management, this is not a surprise.
Saves a lot of space.

I travel a lot, and it is not always possible to pack books into my bag (ladies rarely travel light!). Sometimes a book gets too heavy after a tiring day and I want to switch to another, lighter book, Kindle makes it possible with the touch of my finger.
A nocturnal friend to light up your night (the basic version does not have this, so be careful which one you are buying).

This might not seem like a good point at a first glance, but don’t ever, ever think that you are going to switch on the light to read before sleeping.
It is the best look, size and shape.

For those of us who are still adamant on not purchasing a Kindle, remember this: Nobody is going to give you a book like Anna Karenina in a slim and trim form like Kindle does.
Also, a bonus for booklovers is that it looks exactly like paper. The first time I saw it I couldn’t believe it wasn’t paper rolled up flat under the screen.
Now, coming to the final part. I know why books are loved.

They are beautiful, they can be touched, smelled, and have an individuality unseen in the electronic versions. Let me just put it this way: I too get ecstatic when I can hold a good book in my hands, and the feeling is far better than what Kindle can give. However, I choose Kindle, because I don’t want to always be wishing I had a book.
Kindle is access multiplied.
It is a book in your laptop bag, all the time. It is truly the virtual book, without the distractions of a mobile phone, that I dive into.
So, my Kindle is my friend in dire need.
